Milkweed
Jerry Spinelli does a marvelous job on the novel, Milkweed. It has 208 pages and it's filled with sadness and greatness. The novel describes Misha, Uri, and Janina. Misha and Janina run the filthy streets to steal food for themselves and the orphans. Misha wants to be a Nazi until one day he changes his mind. Misha is smart and unselfish.
He is very unselfish because he shares with Uri, Janina, and the orphanage when he doesn't have much. He is also very smart. He finds ways to stay alive and eat. He wants to be a Gypsy and a Jackboot until he knows it's smarter to be nobody. I recommend this book to anyone who loves good books.
